About Me
Whether I’m building brand strategies or exploring new beaches, I believe the best stories are the ones you experience — and then can’t wait to share.
I’m a creative director, storyteller, and strategic communicator with over 20 years of experience leading marketing, branding, and creative initiatives across higher education and nonprofit spaces.
A few things you should know about me:
🌴 I’ll always find a way to travel — always.
🍽️ If I could eat every meal oceanside, I absolutely would — preferably with a chilled glass of wine or a local craft beer.
Outside of my professional life, I’m a proud mom to five amazing (grown!) kids, a grandma to one sweet little boy (with another grandbaby on the way!), and a wife who adores her husband and favorite travel partner. Together, we chase new places, toast to good moments, and savor every bite along the way.
My work — just like my life — is rooted in passion, creativity, and connection.
My career has always been rooted in storytelling —
Iwhether I’m building a brand from the ground up or helping an organization reimagine the way it connects with its audiences.
With over 20 years of experience in communications, marketing, and creative direction, I specialize in translating big ideas into bold, strategic experiences that drive engagement and elevate brands.
I currently serve as Director of Marketing and Communications at Purdue Polytechnic Institute, where I oversee communications strategy, brand management, and digital engagement across multiple campuses.
Before that, I led award-winning campaigns and creative initiatives as Executive Director of Creative Services at Indiana Wesleyan University — work that helped grow enrollment, strengthen community connection, and position the university's brand for long-term success.
Across every role, my approach stays the same: strategic vision, hands-on creative leadership, and a passion for telling stories that move people to action.
